What Is a Thread Lift?

Now offering this modern procedure at our Nampa and Boise, ID locations

Allante Life Med Spa is pleased to offer this modern anti-aging procedure. Known as a thread lift, this is a procedure where temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle but visible lift in the skin. Instead of removing the patient's loose facial skin surgically, the practitioner simply suspends it by stitching up portions of it.

Threading is an easy, fast, in-office procedure in which a suture thread is inserted via a cannula into the skin through a very small incision. The thread is essentially hooked to the skin and, with a minimal amount of tightening, the skin is lifted and the suture is cut at the insertion point.

Threading is done with topical local anesthesia and typically has minimal downtime. The results last 18-24 months. The thread lift is an FDA-approved, attractive alternative to a much more invasive and expensive full facelift. Call our Boise or Nampa, ID location today to learn more.
