NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, and it is present in all living cells and necessary for cells to function properly. NAD+ levels decline with age, leading to signs of age and age-related illnesses.
Benefits of NAD+ IV treatments:
- Improved sleep
- Improved muscle recovery
- Increased metabolism

IV administration of NAD+ provides you with 100% bioavailability, bypassing the digestive system. There are oral supplements available, but the stomach does not absorb NAD+ very efficiently. IV NAD+ is the safest and most efficient method of increasing your NAD+ levels.
Benefits are maximized by regular infusions. Starting with 4 infusions within a month is the best option to bring you anti-aging and wellness.

What are the side effects of NAD?
Since NAD is naturally found in our body and required for cellular function, there are minimal side effects. NAD can cause flushing, chest and head tightness when infused too fast. This is due to its relation to niacin (Vitamin B3) and the prostaglandin activation that causes cutaneous vasodilation when niacin levels rise quickly. The flushing and tightness can be alleviated by slowing the drip rate.
What is the infusion process?
When you arrive at our office you will need to fill out a brief medical history form and informed consent for IV therapy. Your vital signs will be taken, if your vital signs are within normal limits and you have no significant medical history, we will begin the infusion process.
What should I do prior to infusion?
NAD infusions can have some mild discomfort associated with them, as mentioned above. This can partially be alleviated by having a hearty meal prior and having some snacks handy during infusion. We also recommend you do not drink alcohol the night prior to infusion. Drinking alcohol, the night prior to infusion can exacerbate infusion side effects listed above.
How long do NAD infusions take?
NAD infusions typically take one to four hours depending on the dose and individual tolerance.
How often should I get NAD infusions?
There are many different protocol and recommendations for NAD dosing. The protocol we feel is best for individuals and their quest for healthy aging is four 500 mg NAD infusions over a month followed by booster doses as needed. For individuals that would like the added benefits of vitamins we recommend the 250 mg NAD Myers Cocktails for booster doses.
